While most of us just got our film processed into prints, some people opted to use slide film (for those family photo nights around the slide projector!) or decided to hold onto their negatives, which was an excellent choice. Negatives and slides contain much more detail than printed photos, which make them a perfect candidate for scanning and digitizing! No more holding your slides or negatives up to a light source, trying to see what's on each image: turn them into digital images so you can share and preserve them.
Even slides or negatives that have been stored in the best conditions will degrade over time. Colors fade, dust accumulates, items become scratched or discolored. Having your slides and negatives digitized also makes it easier to share your memories online, whether it be through email, digital scrapbooking, social media, or family history websites.
How can I help? I will scan and digitize your slides and negatives so you can more easily preserve, store, and share them with your loved ones. I'm also locally based right here in Harford County, Maryland, so no need to send anything through the mail! If you have some slides or negatives you'd like to preserve and share more easily, reach out!
